TCC League Week 8: Gbagada reigns in TOTW, Sporting Lagos star named POTW

The Creative Championship, TCC, League named a star-studded lineup for its Team of the Week, TOTW, for matchday eight (8), with Gbagada FC the dominant feature. 

Gbagada led five other teams represented in the TOTW, with no fewer than three players alongside for leaders Dino SC.

After an excellent game week that saw four wins and two draws in six matches, Gbagada were the biggest winners and entertainers following a four-goal thriller against Iganmu.

The Blues Eagles recorded a crucial 3-1 win, with three of the players led by star man Semi Fagbayi making the team again. 

Fagbayi is joined by Rilwan Gbadamosi in attack and Hassan Kareem, who is one of four defenders included in the TOTW. 

Others who made the team are three Dino stars led by impressive forward Amos Adzuu. 

Adzuu is joined his midfield teammates Ogonna Okoro and Hassan Agbede.

To complete the TOTW, Seidu Sabo, Akomolede Babatunde, Ishaq Naziru and goalkeeper, Chinedu Chike, while Gbadaga manager, Olajide Akinyelu leads the team from the dugout.

Meanwhile, for the POTW, despite a brilliant outing in week eight for some of the forwards in the TOTW, the Player of the Week was Ishad Naziru, the Sporting centre back.

Naziru was excellent at both ends of the pitch for the young Tech Boys during the game against Escola United.

His stats include one goal, six interceptions, three duels, ten recoveries and four clearances made in 88 minutes of action.
