‘That’s only way we can repay them’ - Aina reveals team plan for the FA Cup tournament

Nottingham Forest will host Luton Town at the City Ground in the tournament's third-round match.

This season, the 28-year-old has been a regular starter for the Reds in the English Premier League. 

He has been linked to a move to Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, as a result of his outstanding performances.

Aina has opened up on the possibility of Nottingham Forest winning the FA Cup this season ahead of their game against Luton.

According to the FA Cup official website, Aina said, “It’s a tough game but one that I think we’ll be prepared for but it’ll be a good game. 

“I think it’ll be good for the team if we can get an FA Cup run. It’s a magic tournament and anything can happen. 

“The boys are excited to play in it and see how far we get. The fans are our twelfth man, home and away – they’re just as loud. 

“We appreciate it so much. The only way we can repay them is by getting three points each week which is what we’ve been doing lately.”

Nottingham Forest has already gained more points than they did in the English Premier League the previous season.

They are now six points behind Liverpool, the league leaders, in third place as they push to make top-four finish.
