Super Eagles icon Ifeanyi Udeze has revealed in an interview that Victor Osimhen may be struggling a little with his confidence in Cote d'Ivoire.
Osimhen has scored just once in three games including missing several good chances, the sort of chances he may have put away with his eyes closed in previous months.

Nigeria qualified from Group A in second place, winning 2 games and earning a draw against Equatorial Guinea, against whom Osimhen scored his only goal.

“For me, Osimhen is under pressure; that’s why he is trying everything possible to score,” Udeze told Brila FM.
“The pressure is affecting him and I think his confidence level has dropped a little bit whenever he faces the opponent goalpost, so he needs to get his confidence back.”
Osimhen will look to rediscover his scoring form and ease the pressure when Nigeria and Cameroon meet in the AFCON round of 16 this weekend.
