They will win it — Thierry Henry picks team to lift EPL title next season

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has expressed doubts about Liverpool’s chances of retaining the Premier League title in the 2025-26 season, instead tipping his former club to claim the crown.

Despite Arne Slot's Liverpool securing a record-equalling 20th league title last season, Henry believes the Gunners will finally go one step further.

Many fans and pundits expect Liverpool to defend their title, bolstered by high-profile signings Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez.

However, in an interview with Men in Blazers, Henry remained confident in Arsenal’s prospects under Mikel Arteta.

He said, “Do I think that Mikel Arteta is doing a great job? Tremendous job. Do I think he should get the sack? Hell no. Am I going to think we’re going to win the league this year? Yes. It’s been good, it’s got to be better.”

Arsenal have strengthened their squad with astute additions this summer, including Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Noni Madueke, fueling Henry’s optimism for a title triumph.
