Ange Postecoglou, in his inaugural statements as Nottingham's new manager, emphasised his commitment to attacking football and sent a clear message that his objective is to bring success to the "Reds."

On Wednesday (September 10), Postecoglou conducted his first training session with the Nottingham players and subsequently gave his initial remarks on the club's official "X" account, via Sportal, expressing his desire to win titles by playing attractive football.

"I like to win. I like to win things, that's what I've done. I want the fans to be excited when they watch the team play. I think there's already a mentality of unity within the team, where everyone works hard for each other.

"And I want to build on that. From my side, what I want to do is introduce and instill my own ideas. It's no secret that I love to see my teams attack."

"I love my teams to score goals. This is sometimes misinterpreted as playing in only one way. But the reason I want my teams to play this way is because I love to win. That's exactly what I want to do here," the 60-year-old coach initially stated, then added:

"Nottingham is a fantastic football club with a great history and has been doing well recently. The club has real ambitions, and that's important to me. We have an exciting squad.

"In my 28 years of working, I have never set limits on what I want to achieve. Wherever I've been, I've been fortunate to have success, and that has always allowed me to take the next step."
