Erling Haaland emerged as Manchester City's hero in their dominant 3-0 derby victory over Manchester United.

The Norwegian striker netted two of the three goals, securing City's first win against their city rivals after a four-match winless streak in the fixture.

“You could feel it from the fans that we needed this. You always want to win the derby, but today you could feel something more,” Haaland commented, as reported by Sportal.

The Scandinavian forward also shared a few words about his teammate, Phil Foden. “We need to keep going and support him; we really need him.
