Toni Payne: Super Falcons star celebrates 1st trophy of the season with Sevilla
Super Falcons of Nigeria star Antionette (Toni) Oyedupe Payne has reason to celebrate on social media.
Payne has returned to action for her club side Sevilla after participating in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
The 26-year-old competed for Sevilla in the Andalusian Cup final and made an impact.
Payne started all four Super Falcons games 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup as they were knocked out by the Lionesses of England via penalties in the round of 16.
On her return to Sevilla, Payne received a playful beating from her teammates.

Toni Payne wins Copa Andalucía with Sevilla
Payne was on the bench as Sevilla Feminino recorded a 4-1 victory against Granada Feminino in the Andalusian Cup semifinal.
Payne did not start the game but came on late in the game and bagged an assist locating Cristina Martín-Prieto down the middle to score the fourth in a comfortable victory.
Payne again was not named in the starting lineup for Sevilla against Sporting de Huelva in the Andalusian Cup final on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
However, in the 63rd minute, Payne latched on to the ball to put Sevilla in front and it turned out to be the winner as they won the Andalucia Cup.

Following the victory, Payne took to her official social media platforms to celebrate.
Along with photos of the triumph was a message by Payne that said, "Good to be back."
The success of Payne with Sevilla comes a day after her Super Falcons colleague Rasheedat Ajibade provided an assist as Atletico Madrid defeated AC Milan to win the Women's Cup.
Payne is now expected to help Sevilla as they go through pre-season for their campaign in the Spanish Women's First Division.
