Torrie Lewis: 19-year-old Australian wunderkind stuns Sha'Carri Richardson at Xiamen Diamond League
Australia's rising speedster Torrie Lewis caused one of the major upsets in track history by stunning world champion Sha'Carri Richardson to a famous victory at the Xiamen Diamond League.
The 19-year-old marked her Diamond League debut with a blazing win from lane 9 in 22.96s, ahead of the world's fastest woman in 22.99s, while Tamara Clark was third in 23.01s.
Richardson's loss was her first competitive race of the season, having opted out of competing indoors and withdrawn from the Miramar Invitational a few weeks ago.
