Transfer News: Arsenal next signing REVEALED after Zubimendi, Madueke

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are moving swiftly to improve their squad, and have already made some strong signings to that effect.

The Gunners have signed goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea, Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, and Christian Norgaard from Brentford.

Chelsea's Noni Madueke is expected to complete a move imminently, but Arteta is not stopping there.

According to reports, the Gunners are expected to push through a move for Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, who is reportedly ready to go on strike to force a move to the Emirates.

Last season, the Gunners lacked a true striker who could take charge of big moments. Injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz made things worse, and there is no doubt that they will become a much more formidable outfit with a goalscorer like Gyokeres in the fold.

The Swedish forward has already agreed on personal terms and is coming off a monster season at Sporting, with 54 goals and 13 assists.

If the deal is completed, it would be Arsenal’s biggest signing of the window, one that could take their title challenge to the next level.
