Victor Boniface: Italian giants join chase for Nigeria Super Eagles and Leverkusen striker
The Old Lady of Italian football has reportedly expressed an interest in signing a Nigerian Victor of their own following Boniface’s start to life at Bayer Leverkusen.
Pulse Sports can report that Juventus have joined the race for the sensational Nigerian striker who recently joined Leverkusen.
Boniface has returned heads since he left Union Saint-Gilloise in the summer for Germany’s Die Werkself.

Four matches into his over 20 million euros move, the 22-year-old has seen his stock rise after claiming two Bundesliga awards.
He has scored four goals and assisted two more to win the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month for August.
Boniface also earned his first international cap for Nigeria and celebrated with a lovely assist for the last goal, scored by Samuel Chukwueze, in a 6-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe in the final round of the AFCONQ2023 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Juventus join the race to sign Boniface
With his quick-fire start to life at the BayArena, setting the pace for what could be an incredible season in the Bundesliga as he battles Harry Kane for the top scorer ward, the Nigerian has now appeared on the radar of Serie A giants Juventus.
According to Italy-based media outfit, Tuttomercato, the Old Lady is keen to bolster their attacking options and Boniface has emerged as a key target for the club.
Apart from his goals, the Nigerian striker has come to be known for his abilities on the ball, which include dribbling, passes and link-up play which have impressed his manager, Xabi Alonso.
However, Juventus are expected to face strong competition from two other European giants for Boniface’s signature.
Per the report, European Champions, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, are also in the race for the newly capped Super Eagles star.
Juventus will hope to add Boniface to an attack that already has Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa.
