Victor Osimhen: Napoli yet to receive offers for €130m-rated Super Eagles striker
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, but Napoli are yet to receive any concrete offers for their star striker.
The 25-year-old Nigerian international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A champions, with Premier League giants Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, and French champions Paris Saint-Germain, all reportedly interested in his services.
No Osimhen offers for Napoli
Despite the growing interest, however, Napoli have not received any bids for their prized asset, who led the club to their first league title in 33 years last season according to a Football Italia report.
Osimhen has been in impressive form this campaign, scoring 17 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei, who currently sit 10th in the Serie A table as they struggle to defend their title.
The Super Eagles striker is said to have a release clause of €130 million (over £114 million) in his Napoli contract, and the club will be willing to let him go should any team meet that valuation.
Despite the lack of no interest at the moment, the transfer window is not open and things are expected to change once it does.
Osimhen, who is currently injured, last featured for the club against Bologna after picking up a knock in the 2-2 draw at Fiorentina which ended the club’s dream of playing in Europe next season.
He also is a doubt for Nigeria’s all important 2026 World Cup qualifier against South Africa early next month.
However, he is expected to be listed in the squad for the clash by new manager Finidi George.
