Video: Daylight robbery as Jigawa player recreates ‘Maradona’s hand of God Goal’

Sporting Supreme Of Abuja was robbed after a player of Jigawa Golden Stars recreated Maradona's hand of God goal.

The match was one of the big games of Group D, Northern Conference as both sides were fighting for a slot for Super 8 playoffs.

However, there was controversy as a player from the Jigawa Golden Stars scored through the recreation of Maradona’s hand of God goal.

The goal was scored towards the end of the game when both sides are playing 1-1 before the dramatic goal.

The goal gave the host, Jigawa Golden Stars the three points, and several reactions have followed on social media after the video surfaced.

The popular hand of God goal was a goal scored by Argentine footballer Diego Maradona during the Argentina and England quarter finals match of the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

The goal was illegal under association football rules because Maradona used his hand to score.
