Stephen Curry scored 30 points to lead the Warriors to victory, supported by Klay Thompson’s 29 points.

This was a necessary win for the Warriors, who needed to shoot down the narrative that they could only win home games.

The Rockets stayed in the game for most of the contest, going point for point and making life hard for the Warriors.

Golden State finally pulled a way with a 12-2 run early in the fourth quarter to record their first win away from home since Jan. 30.

The Warriors have struggled badly on the road and that has been an ongoing concern.

They came into the game at 7th place in the Western Conference as the race for Automatic playoffs qualification heats up.

Steve Kerr’s team have been splendid at home this season with a 29-7 record from 36 home games. However they have only won 8 games on the road all season..

This game against the Rockets was the Warriors fourth game on a five-game road trip that started with losses to the Clippers, Hawks, and Grizzlies.
