[Watch]: Chiamaka Nnadozie's mother shows off 'impressive' goalkeeping skill
The mother of Africa’s best goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has been seen showcasing her goalkeeping skills like her daughter.
Pulse Sports can report that Nnadozie’s mother was recorded emulating the Super Falcons star in a video spotted on social media.
Nnadozie’s remarkable season
The 22-year-old has enjoyed an excellent 12 months for her club Paris FC and Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
Nnadozie started with a brilliant outing at the 2023 FIFAWWC, where she helped Nigeria go against the odds to reach the last 16.
The goalkeeper put on a show to inspire the Falcons to three clean sheets, establishing herself as a penalty expert, against Olympic champions Canada.
Nnadozie also helped her club side Paris reach the group stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, UWCL, for the first, thanks to her shot-stopping and penalty-saving heroics.
Her incredible year came to a climax when she was named Africa’s Women’s goalkeeper of the year in a well-attended ceremony in Morocco earlier this month.
Nnadozie’s mother shines
In the video, the visibly excited could be seen sporting her gloves while Nnadozie directed her on what to do as she tried to save spot kicks.
Nnadozie is enjoying the holiday in Nigeria and used the opportunity to showcase where she got her goalkeeping skills from, her mother.
The video was originally posted by Chiamaka on her Instagram story before it made it around other platforms.
