We are not thinking about them — Super Eagles star Ndidi 100% focused ahead of WCQ
Wilfred Ndidi has reiterated that the team's immediate priority is their upcoming match against Rwanda, despite the looming challenge of facing South Africa next week.
The Super Eagles are aiming to revive their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign during this international break, with crucial encounters against Rwanda and South Africa on the horizon.
The fixtures are scheduled with Nigeria hosting Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday, followed by a trip to Bloemfontein to face South Africa on Tuesday. Both games are critical for Eric Chelle's side, who currently sit fourth in Group C with seven points from six matches.

"We are not looking at the game against South Africa yet, because the game against Rwanda is the most important one in our hands right now, and we can't let it slip," Ndidi told Pooja.
"If we let it slip, it's finished. If we let the Rwanda game slip, there's nothing like rivalry in South Africa. We have to win the game against Rwanda first, then we focus on the game against South Africa."
The stakes are undeniably high for Chelle's men, as anything less than a victory against Rwanda could prove disastrous for their World Cup aspirations.
