We made mistakes — Newcastle boss Eddie Howe after draw with West Ham

Newcastle came back from a goal down to take a 2-1 lead, thanks to a brace from Aexander Isak but the magpies ended up with a single point at full time.

Eddie Howe was convinced his side should have taken all three points but admitted mistakes cost them.

"I think there’s frustration. "Whenever you concede goals, there’s a frustration because I’m looking for perfection.

"We made mistakes in midfield that allowed them to have the space that they did. We’re disappointed with both goals – I think we could have avoided them."
