Chelsea will continue their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, as Maresca is keen to bolster his attacking options for their Champions League campaign next season.

The Blues recently declined the option to sign Sancho permanently from Manchester United, and Maresca believes they "need to do something" this summer to fill the void left by the England international.

"Jadon is not with us anymore, so this is a position where we need to do something. We have Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto, and Tyrique George on the wings, so something will certainly happen.

"When the transfer window opens, we'll certainly be able to do something," said the Chelsea manager, as reported by Sportal.

Bynoe-Gittens remains a top priority for Chelsea, but the West London club has already seen two bids for the Englishman rejected by Borussia Dortmund.
