Bryne FK, the Norwegian football club where Erling Haaland began his professional career in 2015, has recently found itself in the spotlight, prompting a reaction from the Norwegian striker.
The Norwegian top-flight club dismissed three players: Alex Kriege, Jens Husebø and Robert Undheim.
Haaland's reaction
The Manchester City forward saw the announcement and took to Snapchat, via Sportal, questioning the club, "What the hell is going on?"
One fan responded, suggesting he should be in bed, resting and preparing for national team matches. Haaland replied, "Yeah, I should be, but there's chaos at my home club, and it's making me angry, so I can't sleep now."
Norwegian media immediately contacted the dismissed players to understand the situation, but none were willing to disclose specific details to the press.
Bryne currently sits 14th in the Norwegian Eliteserien league with 20 points after 20 matches played. They are currently on a seven-game winless streak, having secured only two points during that period.
Erling Haaland started his professional career at Bryne in 2015. He played for the reserve team in the third tier, then for the first team in the second division, before moving to Molde in 2017.
