Raw Recap: Jey Uso and the Bloodline attack Sami Zayn as John Cena set to face Austin Theory at WrestleMania

With WrestleMania 39 continuing to build up, the match cards continued to be confirmed with big matches expected to happen following the recent episode of Monday night Raw.

The big story of the night was perhaps the end of the beginning of the saga between Sami Zayn and The Bloodline.

Estranged member of the Bloodline Jey Uso finally made clear where his allegiances lied, as he attacked Zayn who attempted to convince him to ditch the Bloodline.

But that was after Zayn had been earlier saved by Kevin Owens from an attack on the night.

However, Owens emphasized he still did not trust Zayn, nor was he willing to work with his former best friend. 

At the end of the show, Zayn was treated to a spectacular shocker after believing Jey Uso would choose him over his brother, Jimmy Uso, only for Jey to turn on Zayn and join his Bloodline family members in attacking Zayn.

Elsewhere John Cena made his return to Raw and came face-to-face with Austin Theory.

The 16-time champion had some strong words for the United States champion, with the pair engaging in a series of back-and-forth in the ring, before a bout between the duo was confirmed for WrestleMania 39.

Here’s all that went down this week on WWE Raw.

Theory interrupted Cena's return to Raw to throw down the challenge. 

Cena told Theory that he wouldn't do it because he didn't want to ruin Theory's career before trash-talking Theory on the mic. 

Cena finally accepted the match after asking the crowd if they wanted to see it.

Rollins and Paul will clash at WrestleMania 39.

The Nigerian giant landed a chokebomb to seal the win against Ziggler ahead of his match against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 39.

Balor seemed to have the match won when Edge's music hit. 

Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley ran to the entrance ramp to cut Edge off, but Edge came from the crowd to shove Balor off the top rope and set Gargano up for the win.

After the match, Edge hit Balor with a spear and told him "this isn't over."
