In another night of exhilarating National Basketball League action, UCU Lady Canons managed a tightly contested 68-61 victory over UPDF Lady Hawks on Wednesday at the MTN Indoor Arena, Lugogo.
The Lady Canons got off to a flying start, opening a dominant 16-05 lead after the first quarter.

The second quarter was another show of dominion from the Canons, and they took it with a 21-13 score to open a 37-18 lead by halftime.

From closely contested encounters, vengeance and blistering individual displays, the four-game evening delivered goodies to the exhilarating crowds inside the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
UPDF were much improved after the break, but UCU still took the third quarter 22-16, to lead 59-34.
In the final quarter, UPDF were all guns out with sheer dominance and took it by a massive 27-09.
However, the fight-back came a little too late, with UCU Lady Canons smiling to victory.
