Soltilo Bright Stars FC talisman Nelson Senkatuka and KCCA marksman Muhammad Shaban lead the chase for the golden boot, as they have both found the back of the net eight times.

The 2023/24 Startimes Uganda Premier League season is just four matches away from the completion of the first round.

Jinja-based outfit BUL FC continues to lead proceedings with 26 points in 11 matches, while Vipers SC and Kitara FC follow closely with 24 and 22 points, respectively.

Following a dismal start, KCCA FC finally ascended from the relegation ruins and sit 13th on the 16-team table, with 10 points.

Wakiso Giants FC, UPDF FC, and Arua Hill SC continue to languish in the red zone, having collected just 10, nine and five points, respectively.

KCCA FC marksman Muhammad Shaban, BUL forward Alex Kitata, Maroons FC's Fred Amaku and SC Villa's Umar Lutalo then follow suit, with seven, six and five goals, respectively.

Meanwhile, URA FC player and 2022/23 Midfielder of the Season Laban Tibita has accumulated four assists, more than any other player.

BUL and NEC FC left-backs Nicholas Mwere and Rashid Okocha follow closely with three assists each.

Vipers' Yunus Sentamu, URA's Norman Namanya, Maroons' Abraham Tusubira, Arua Hill's Gadafi Wahab, KCCA's Usama Arafat, Steven Munguchi of Gaddafi FC and Villa's Ivan Bogere have each amassed three assists as well.

At the back, NEC goalkeeper Samson Kiirya has kept the most clean-sheets with six in eleven games.

The shot-stopper is closely followed by Vipers' custodian Jack Komakech and BUL's Tom Ikara, who have kept five clean-sheets apiece.

On the other hand, KCCA's Peter Magambo and BUL's Mwere have received five yellow cards this season, the most of any player.

Maroons' David Ndihabwe, KCCA's Shaban, Paul Willa of Wakiso Giants, BUL's Walter Ochora, George Kasonko (BUL) and Darius Ojok of Maroons collected four yellow cards each.

BUL defender Benon Tahomera has received two red cards already this season, the most of any player in the league.
