Playing further up the pitch against the Reds, who started Ola Aina at right back, Iwobi delivered his best performance yet for the Cottagers.

The Nigerian playmaker opened the floodgates on the half-hour mark before Jimenez doubled the advantage four minutes later.

Mexican forward, Jimenez made it 3-0 in the second half after proving to be too strong for Super Eagles defender Aina before rounding the Nottingham Forest goalkeeper for his brace.

16 minutes from time, Iwobi completed his brace with Fulham’s fourth of the night before Tom Cairney wrapped up proceedings with the fifth four minutes from time.

The one-sided affair against a Forest side without the injured Taiwo Awoniyi sees Fulham rise to 12th, with the visitors 16th on the PL table.
