Nigerian football talents Terem Moffi and Moses Simon shine in Ligue 1, nominated for the prestigious Marc-Vivien Foe award alongside other African stars.

Two Nigerian talents, Terem Moffi and Moses Simon, have captured the spotlight by being shortlisted for the esteemed Marc-Vivien Foe Award in recognition of their stellar performances in the French Ligue 1.

The Award, named after the Legendary Cameroonian midfielder who played for Lens and Lyon in Ligue 1 is presented to the best African player in the French top flight. Victor Osimhen and Vincent Enyeama are two Nigerians who have won the prize.

Terem Moffi: A Rising Star in Ligue 1

Terem Moffi has been setting the Ligue 1 stage on fire with his exceptional skills, evident in his remarkable achievement of scoring his 50th goal in the league during a recent match against Nantes.

The 24-year-old striker has been a standout performer for Les Aiglons, netting an impressive 10 goals in 23 appearances this season. Moffi's consistent form and goal-scoring prowess have rightfully earned him a place among the top contenders for the Marc-Vivien Foe award.

Moses Simon's entry

Despite facing an unfortunate ankle injury while on international duty last month, Moses Simon has made a significant impact for his club, Nantes, this season. The versatile forward has contributed three goals and six assists in 22 league outings, showcasing his skill and determination on the field.
