Given the state, Bright Stars feel they have a strong chance of getting a decent result when the two meet at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.

For the first time in Uganda Premier League history, Soltilo Bright Stars FC and KCCA FC will wrestle it out with the former ahead of the latter on the table.

Bright Stars occupy 10th on the 16-team log with 11 points in ten games, while KCCA languish in the relegation zone.

The Kasasiro Boys sit a lowly 15th, having collected just seven points out of a possible 30 so far this season.

Given the state, Bright Stars feel they have a strong chance of getting a decent result when the two meet at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.

"We've been training well, and we're going to add up on what we've been doing," Bright Stars' head coach Joseph Mutyaba told the club media ahead of the game.

"The players themselves feel they can manage (beat) KCCA because they have done well against them in the previous seasons."

Encounters between the two have been close recently, with KCCA and Bright Stars winning twice apiece and drawing once in the past five league games.

"In tomorrow's game, they (the players) are very sure (certain) of getting points, and we have no pressure," Mutyaba added.

However, KCCA hold the lion's share of victories in the last 20 league meetings, dating back to 2013.

KCCA boast 12 wins against Bright Stars' three, with five games ending in stalemates.

"We know we're the underdogs, but we are going there to put up a fight and add to the points we have at the moment," said Mutyaba.

Bright Stars will be playing under the floodlights for the first time this season, but Mutyaba feels his side will be fine with adjusting to the situation.

"We are going there as pros; we have to adjust to whatever situation, so we go to the floodlights knowing it will not hurt us."
