With Hacken's U19 team, Dembe impressed as he scored ten goals in just eight matches before earning a promotion to the senior team, which has eventually netted his signature.

KCCA FC young forward John Paul Dembe has been netted down by Swedish top-flight side Bollklubben Hacken.

Dembe has signed a long-term, four-year employment contract with Hacken.

He has spent six months at the club on loan, having joined them in July this year from his parent club, KCCA, in the Uganda Premier League.

His loan from KCCA to Hacken immediately came after he signed a five-year contract with the former.

With Hacken's U19 team, Dembe impressed as he scored ten goals in just eight matches before earning a promotion to the senior team, which has eventually netted his signature.

Dembe has gone on to play two Europa League games for Hacken, initially coming on for the final four minutes as they lost 3-1 to Norway's Molde in November.

His second match had him play 21 minutes as Hacken lost 2-1 to Qarabag yesterday.

Hacken eventually finished at the bottom of Group H as they crashed out, having garnered zero points in six matches.

In the just concluded Swedish top-flight season, Hacken finished third with 57 points to qualify for the 2024/25 UEFA Europa Conference League.
