Following his first goal for his new club, Harry Kane discussed why Bayern Munich are the ideal team for him and how life is different in Germany.

Harry Kane made his first start for Bayern Munich against Weder Bremen in their first Bundesliga game of the season.

The England international completed a quick move after being left in a large open area in the middle of the field to score Bayern’s second goal.

Kane was put through on goal by Alphonso Davies, who sprinted down the left flank and put the ball past the goalkeeper.

After scoring his first goal, the England captain was interviewed and spoke about the difference between both leagues and picked Bayern as an ideal team for him.

Kane’s explanation

Kane insisted on keeping up with his playmaking style even if he had the most assists in the Premier League in 2020–21.

However, his main ambition is to score goals for his new team and help them reach the highest level this season.

Kane told Sky Sports after his debut as reported by The Sun, "We've seen my game, I like to drop deep and link play in the last four or five years.

"I think with the pace we have in this team, it works perfectly. I'm a No 9 first and foremost so I have to get in the box and make the runs forward. I'm really happy, we have a fantastic squad and I'm excited to be a part of it."

Just three minutes against Werder Bremen, Kane showed how well he will fit in by assisting Leroy Sane to score the game's first goal.

Jiri Pavlenka, the goalkeeper for Bremen, made multiple saves before Harry Kane scored, preventing the former Tottenham star from scoring a hat-trick.

The atmosphere at the Weserstadion impressed Kane, who gave both sets of supporters kudos for their outpouring of support.

He continued, "The fans from both sides were incredible the whole game, really different to some of the Premier League atmospheres I've experienced."
