Kasule is already a popular name in New York less than a year since joining the club in March from Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League.

Ugandan youngster Ibrahim 'Baba' Kasule continues to write history, not only in New York Red Bulls II history but in the entire MLS Next Pro, the reserve league for the Major League Soccer in the United States.

Kasule is already a popular name in New York less than a year since joining the club in March from Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League.

The 19 year-old grabbed a brace earlier on Monday as New York Red Bulls 2 edged Chicago Fire II 5-4 in a thriller, where compatriot Frank Ssebufu scored once.

Kasule took his goal tally in the league to 15, all of which came in the past 13 games. Overall, he has made 23 appearances.

On 15 goals, Kasule is the second top scorer in the league behind New York City II player Mathew Meyrs who is on 16 strikes.

However, Kasule has the most direct goal involvements in the league with 19, one ahead of Meyrs and LA Galaxy 2 forward Aaron Bibout, as well as Colorado Rapids 2 player Yosuke Hanya.

Also, on 15, Kasule ties with Brandon Allen and Jared Stroud for the most goals in a single season for New York Red Bulls 2 in history.

The attacking midfielder also became the second player in New York Red Bulls 2 history to score in back-to-back matches.

At only 19, Kasule is arguably the best young player in the league less than a year in but is also fast taking over as the best player
