Moises Caicedo's agent Manuel Sierra has admitted that Liverpool offered his client a “more stable project” than Chelsea.
The 21-year-old midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the summer transfer window, but his heart was set on joining the Blues.
The Reds agreed a £110million deal with Brighton for Caicedo, but the Ecuador international told Jurgen Klopp that he wanted to work under Mauricio Pochettino instead.

"The issue of not going to Liverpool instead of Chelsea was also very questioned,” Sierra said. “The offers were similar in every way,” he added.
“The issue is that due to a question of values and a question of principles and of giving the floor to someone, when Liverpool’s offer arrived, Brighton were asked for time so that Chelsea could match it, they did that, they surpassed it and he ended up at Chelsea because he had given the word to Chelsea and he told them for quite some time.
