"We're more than ready because the players have responded well to the entire sessions we've been conducting," Ayiekoh told the club media.

In what will be his first game in charge of Kampala Queens Football Club, head coach Charles Ayiekoh Lukula is confident his team will smile to positive results on Wednesday.

The Queens of Soccer will lock horns with Kawempe Muslim Ladies Football Club in what promises a mouthwatering FUFA Women's Super League Kampala derby at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

"We're more than ready because the players have responded well to the entire sessions we've been conducting," Ayiekoh told the club media.

"Everybody is ready for the game, and I have what it takes to win the game. I've concentrated, I had enough time, so I'm very confident we shall get the results tomorrow."

Ayiekoh took over from Charles Ssenyange Nsanziro, who was shown the exit about a fortnight back.

"I want to appeal to our fans to come and support us. We have something new we've brought into this game."

Currently, Kampala Queens sit top of the 2023/24 Women's Super League table with 10 points after just four games.

Meanwhile, having played a game less, Kawempe is third on the log with seven points.
