Kitara made their intentions clear on the day at home turf early as Omedi tapped in a Kabon assist following a quick counterattack.

While the goal was contested for offside, it stood and Kitara didn't look back.

In the 37th minute, Semugabi made it two with a thumping header off a Paul Mucureezi corner.

Substitute Ivan Ahimbisibwe was then given matching orders after an elbow on Paddy Muhumuza, to leave the Tax Collectors in deeper agony.

In the dying stages, Kabon chipped in a third off a well-weighted through ball from substitute Najib Yiga.

It marked a day to forget for URA head coach David Obua, who had vowed to have his team compete more than they did.

URA have stayed seventh on the 16-team log with 31 points in 21 matches.

Elsewhere, Busoga United came from two goals down to draw with Soltilo Bright Stars FC at Kakindu Stadium.

Sharif Nsereko and Issa Bugembe netted for 11th placed (25 points) Bright Stars, while Jeremy Matata and Franco Mugomba were on target for Busoga, who are 14th with 17 points.
