Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly contacted a Chelsea player about potentially joining him at Al Nassr.

Chelsea are no strangers to selling players, either due to underperformance or to turn a profit.

Recent departures include Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, Romelu Lukaku, and many others, and it seems this trend will continue.

One player who might be next is 24-year-old attacking midfielder João Felix.

He joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid for around €50 million but was loaned to AC Milan after just six months. Unfortunately, he hasn't made a significant impact in Italy, leading some to call for the club to cut its losses.

According to transfer expert Graeme Bailey, Cristiano Ronaldo has been in touch with Felix, trying to persuade him to join Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. However, Bailey believes Felix's heart might be set on a move elsewhere.

"Having a permanent buyer is the issue. That's the risk with sending these players out on loan.

"He's got a lot of admirers. Jorge Mendes is doing work. A Wolves, West Ham would take him. Benfica's the one. I think he'll want to go Benfica. It'll be a feelgood opportunity for him."

Bailey added that Chelsea might be keen on a Saudi Arabian move for Felix, but he thinks Felix would prefer Benfica.

"Chelsea would love him to go to Saudi Arabia. I am told that Ronaldo has recommended that move to him, but he probably does that with most Portuguese players. I could see Felix in Saudi, but I think he'll want to go to Benfica."
