Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has struggled to get the best out of his strikers and is now reportedly looking to the Bundesliga for solutions.

Manchester United are reportedly pushing to sign Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller on a free transfer next summer.

Müller, who has spent his entire career with the Bundesliga champions, is facing reduced playing time this season.

The 34-year-old has only started four league games and was benched during the recent 1-0 victory against FC Koln. With his contract ending this season, Bild suggests that a renewal is very unlikely for the German international.

The report further states that United boss Erik ten Hag is a big admirer of the Bayern man and would love  chance to bring in a payer of such rich experience to a faltering attack.
