It should be noted that Mukasa is born to a Ugandan father and English mother, and is thus eligible to represent either of the two at the senior level.

English-born midfield sensation Divine Mukasa scored a brace for the England U17 team as they trumped Northern Ireland 5-1 in the Elite stage of the Euro U17 qualifiers.

The Manchester City starlet netted the first and the final goal for the young Three Lions in the Wednesday contest.

Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri, Port Vale's Baylee Dipepa (two) completed the rout for England.

Mukasa's brace took him to four goals in as many games in the qualifications and at the U17 national team level.

The 16-year-old previously featured for the England U16 team where he netted three goals in four games.

Mukasa will be expected to showcase his might yet again on Saturday as they play Hungary, before rounding off with France on Tuesday next week.
