In Tanzania, all the big clubs in Simba, Young Africans and Azam FC have already led the way in sending off their players and officials whose contracts won't be renewed as they create space for the new faces.
According to board chairman Salim' try again' Abdullah, plans to ensure that Simba has a competitive squad next season are underway.
"We will make a big registration (signings) towards the next season of the league; for now, our goals are to make sure we pass the quarter-final stage (CAF) and enter the semi-finals," Abdullah said.

FOOTBALL Simba board apologizes to fans after a second straight trophyless season
Salim Abdallah Mhene, Simba’s chairman board of directors, issued the apology on Friday evening through a club press release as he urged the Msimbazi faithful to wait for next season.
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament for the United Republic of Tanzanian Parliament, Musa Azan Zungu, was also on hand to reassure the fans that the club will bounce back stronger, urging them to keep calm.
"We shouldn't blame each other, we played very well in Morocco (against Wydad), but luck was not ours, let's continue to support our team; I believe we will do well next season," Zungu noted.

FOOTBALL Tanzanian football giants Simba seal two billion kit sponsorship deal with Sandaland
Simba on Friday announced a Tshs2 billion (about UGX3B) kit sponsorship with Sandaland, a leading retail and manufacturing clothing brand, for the provision of the club kits ahead of the new season.
Simba is currently carrying out a massive clear out of their squad, having released up to five players, including veterans Jonas Mkude, Erasto Nyoni, and goalkeeper Beno Kakolanya.
It's reported that more senior players like long-serving captain John Rafael Bocco are also expected to be released as Msimbazi prepares to bring in top players to stop Young African's dominance.
Simba dominated the Tanzanian top flight by winning four seasons in a row before Young Africans, led by Engineer Hersi Said and Ghalib Salim Mohamed (GSM), took over the club.
'Tiimu ya Wanainchi' has since gone on to sweep every major trophy on the domestic scene back to back.
