Timothy Ouma, who was left out of Harambee Stars' recent squad, scored the first goal for Elfsborg as they strolled to a 3-1 win over Hacken in Sweden.

Harambee Stars midfielder Timothy Ouma was on target as IF Elfsborg secured victory over BK Hacken in a friendly encounter held at the Bravida Arena on Saturday.

The game started evenly, with IF Elfsborg enjoying the majority of possession. However, the action intensified quickly.

Elfsborg broke the deadlock in the seventh minute through Ouma's pressing game, as he intercepted a pass and unleashed a shot that found the back of the net.

BK Hacken responded just two minutes later, equalising from close range after Isak Pettersson's initial save.

In the 71st minute, IF Elfsborg reclaimed the lead. Substitute Rami Kaib delivered a precise cross, met by Per Frick's header to make it 2-1 for the visitors.

Following the goal, the visitors maintained a solid defensive effort, denying BK Hacken any clear-cut opportunities.

Substitute wingers Camil Jebara and Ahmed Qasem kept the pressure on BK Hacken's defence in the closing stages, before they capitalised on their opponents' defensive lapses.

This led to their third goal of the match. Buhari Ibrahim's corner found Noah Soderberg, who tapped in from close range to seal a 3-1 victory.

The result marked a convincing performance by IF Elfsborg, showcasing their attacking prowess and defensive resilience.
