Anothet Egyptian transfer reporter Rami Youseff posted on X: "Ugandan striker Travis Mutyaba signs four and a half years. He will be registered under the local and African age."

Uganda Cranes sensation Travis Mutyaba has agreed to join Egyptian and African African football kingpins Zamalek SC, as per multiple reports.

According to journalist David Isabirye,  Zamalek wrapped talks with Georgian outfit Dinamo Tblisi for a contract that will span five years.

"Talks have progressed for a month now, and the terms reached for the three parties, the two clubs and the player (alongside his official representatives),” Egyptian transfer guru Mohamed Elabd told Kawowo.

It has also been reported that the 18-year-old will travel to Egypt for medical tests as well as contract signing on Wednesday.

It should be noted that last year, FUFA indicated that Mutyaba was a Dinamo Tbilisi player, although the club never announced his arrival.

He has been out of competitive club football since the conclusion of the 2022/23 Uganda Premier League League season in June at SC Villa.

Besides Villa, Mutyaba has previously featured for the Vipers Junior Team, Synergy in the Futsal competition, Bulemeezi in the Buganda Masaza Cup, as well as Gombe High School.

He has been through various national team ranks, playing at the U15, U17, U20 and for the senior team, the Uganda Cranes.
