Denis Onyango (Mamelodi Sundowns)

The former Uganda Cranes captain, Denis Onyango, made his first season appearance for Masandawana. He started in goal, keeping a clean sheet as he contributed to Sundowns' 2-0 victory over Bumamuru FC.

This win, sealing a 6-0 aggregate, advanced them to the CAF Champions League group stages for the ninth consecutive time.

Mugisha Rogers (Gor Mahia FC)

Former U-20 Uganda Hippos forward Mugisha Rogers opened his account with K'Ogalo by scoring a crucial equalizer, resulting in a 1-1 draw against KCB in the Kenya Premier League on Sunday, claiming the man of the match ward too.

Khalid Aucho, Gift Fred (Young Africans)

Uganda Cranes assistant captain Khalid Aucho played a pivotal role for his Young Africans side as they narrowly triumphed 1-0 over Sudanese giants Al Merrikh.

This victory marked their advancement to the CAF Champions League group stages for the first time since 1998. However, Gift Fred did not feature in this pivotal match.

Joakim Ojera, Charles Bbaale, Simon Tamale, and Musa Esenu (Rayon Sport)

These Ugandan players, currently enlisted with Rayon Sport, competed against the Libyan side AL Ahly Benghazi in the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round on Saturday.
