"KCCA FC and player Moses Waiswa Ndhondhi have today, Thursday, January 11, 2024, mutually parted ways with immediate effect," a club statement said on Thursday.

Waiswa joined KCCA as a free agent in June 2022, having ended his time at South African outfit Supersport United, and inked a two-year deal from June 2022 to June 2024.

According to multiple reports, including Swift Sports, it's Waiswa's representatives who sought the termination.

They also claimed the player felt "betrayed by KCCA after falling out of favour in team selection."

Waiswa has played just five times in the Uganda Premier League this season, and he felt he deserved to feature more often.

Overall, since joining KCCA last season, he played 33 times, scoring three goals in the process.

Besides KCCA and Supersport, Waiswa has also previously featured for Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC, heping them to the 2018/19 championship.
