Like it was for the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa, Irene Eyaru will captain the She Cranes in the UK Series.

The She Cranes will face off with four of the world’s leading netball nations across the weekends of 20-21 and 27-28 January 2024 as part of an incredible showcase of international netball.

They were invited by England, in a competition with powerhouses such as Australia and New Zealand, for the Netball Nations Cup.

The team includes shooter Mary Nuba Cholhok, who features for England's Loughborough in the Netball Super League.

Others are Lillian Achola, Margaret Baagala, Florence Adunia, Mercy Batamuliza, Haniisha Muhameed Nakaate, Falidah Kadondi, Sandrah Ruth Nambirige, Christine Namulumba Kango, Shadiah Nassanga Ssegujja and Sarah Nakiyunga.

Meanwhile, the first two days of the tournament will be played at the prestigious OVO Arena Wembley.

Matches will then move to the First Direct Arena, marking the first time that international netball will be held in Leeds.

The Australian Diamonds and the New Zealand Silver Ferns remain on top of the world rankings, with England currently placed in third, whilst Uganda recorded their best-ever finish at a World Cup with a fifth place.
