Uganda Premier League champions Vipers FC have confirmed reknown DJ Ssuuna Ben as the headline act before their maiden home season game against Arua Hill SC.

Famously known for his 'Ebinyaanya nyaanya' sound, Ssuuna Ben will entertain St. Mary's Stadium, Kitende this Thursday.

The move to have artists and musicians provide a varying experience from the on-pitch action is geared towards rubbing the game to a wider audience.

It's an initiative aimed at attracting more crowds to stadiums as the artists and musicians normally come with their ardent followers and fans.

Meanwhile, Vipers will be hoping they can make a perfect home start in the UPL this season, having managed victory in the first away match on Sunday.

The Venoms pulled off a narrow 2-1 win over Gadaffi in Jinja, thanks to goals from Milton Karisa and Mohamed Salem Ekbad.

Leo Neiva's charges haven't lost a domestic home game for nearly two years, with their last defeat coming in November 2021 against URA FC.
