AFCON 2023: Frank Onyeka's proud wife Mesoma takes to social media to highlight crucial role for Super Eagles ahead of final

Mesoma Akaolisa, the wife of Frank Onyeka, has taken to social media to shine a spotlight on her husband's pivotal role for the Super Eagles ahead of the highly-anticipated AFCON 2023 final.

With Nigeria poised for a showdown against Ivory Coast, Akaolisa proudly reposted a clip from the official page of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), underscoring Onyeka's impressive performances at AFCON 2023.

 Her caption, 'I mean..' reflects her affirmation of her husband's crucial contributions to the team, particularly in the heart of the midfield.

Frank Onyeka's journey to the final with the Super Eagles is not just a personal triumph but he has been massively backed by the support he receives from his wife, Mesoma Akaolisa. 

Pulse Sports earlier reported that the couple, who got engaged in August 2023 and officially tied the knot months later.

Mesoma, a talented engineer, has also garnered attention for her fashion sense, being named amongst the most fashionable Nigerian WAGs of 2023.

Having started all of Nigeria's games thus far in the tournament, the 26-year-old Brentford star's presence in the midfield has been instrumental to the team's success.
