Nottingham Forest's four-point deduction will stand after an independent commission rejected their appeal.

Nottingham Forest's appeal against a four-point deduction has been rejected, dealing a significant blow to their Premier League survival hopes.

The points deduction was imposed due to a breach of Financial Fair Play regulations, and the club had hoped to overturn the decision.

However, the appeal has been dismissed, leaving Forest with an uphill battle to avoid relegation.

The deduction leaves Forest with 29 points from 36 matches, just three points above the relegation zone.
