Nigerian forward Shola Ogundana has secured a permanent move to Brazilian giants Flamengo.
The young talent, who initially joined the club on loan from Beyond Limits Football Academy, has impressed sufficiently to earn a three-year contract.

Ogundana first caught the eye of Flamengo scouts during the Viareggio youth tournament in Italy. His performances during his loan spell convinced the Brazilian club to offer him a permanent deal.
“Following a successful loan spell, the winger has signed a three-year contract with the Brazilian giant.
“We have reached an agreement with Flamengo of Brazil for the permanent transfer of Shola Ogundana,” Beyond Limits Academy said.

Flamengo, one of Brazil's popular clubs has a rich history and a renowned youth academy. The club has produced numerous world-class players and has a massive global following.
Flamengo's most intense rivalries are with Rio de Janeiro's "Big Four": Fluminense, Botafogo, and Vasco da Gama, as well as interstate rivals Atletico MG and Palmeiras.
As Brazil's richest and most valuable football club, it generates an annual revenue of €218 million and has a valuation exceeding €691 million. By June 18, 2023, Flamengo became the first non-European club with the largest social media following, boasting 49 million followers across all platforms.
