With 117.500 points, the Spanish giants continue to set the standard for consistency and success across European competitions.

Real Madrid extend lead over Europe’s elite

The UEFA club coefficient rankings, which measure performance over the last five seasons in competitions like the Champions League and Europa League, have Madrid comfortably at the top.

Bayern Munich sit second with 108.250 points, followed by Inter Milan with 107.250 points. Manchester City, riding on their recent domestic and European successes, are in fourth place with 102.750.

Meanwhile reigning Premier League champions Liverpool round off the top five with 101.500 points.

Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain occupy sixth with 94.500 points, after winning the first European title in their history during the 2024/25 season.

Leverkusen and Dortmund surpass Barcelona

One of the standout surprises of this year’s rankings is Victor Boniface’s Bayer Leverkusen, who are in seventh place with 85.250 points. Their impressive run to the 2024 Europa League final has significantly boosted their standing.

Just below them in eighth are 2024 Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund with 84.750 points. Barcelona, despite winning LaLiga and reaching the Champions League semifinals last season, find themselves ninth on 83.250 points.

The Catalan side’s position is below both Leverkusen and Dortmund after a period of European struggles that saw them drop to the Europa League twice in the last five years, where they never went beyond the last four.
