Chelsea Football Club are reportedly ready to sign Real Madrid's talented winger Vinicius Junior.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has caught the eye of several top European clubs, including Chelsea, PSG, and Manchester United.
Vinicius enjoyed a stellar season with Real Madrid, scoring 24 goals and 11 assists last season to contribute to their La Liga and Champions League titles.
Unfortunately, his impressive performance was not enough to win him the Ballon d'Or award, a decision that surprised many football pundits.
Despite Real Madrid's efforts to tie Vinicius down to a new long-term contract, the player has reportedly rejected their latest offer, fueling speculation about a potential departure, according to Fichajes.
This has opened the door for Chelsea to explore the possibility of signing the Brazilian star according to a report by CaughtOffside.
“The Spanish outfit are keen to tie him down to a new deal. Convincing them to sell the player could be quite difficult. Apparently, Vinicius has rejected the last renewal proposal from Real Madrid and that has fuelled further speculations surrounding his future,” the report said.
Vinicius Junior has been outstanding for Real Madrid this season and has already scored five goals and provided four assists in 11 games in Laliga.
