Chukwueze set to return for AC Milan against PSG
Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwuze is set to return to the AC Milan squad for their crucial UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
Chukwueze to return for AC Milan
The Nigerian forward has been out of action since suffering an injury during the last international break while playing for the Super Eagles against Saudi Arabia.
Chukwueze has missed four matches for AC Milan, who have struggled in his absence, but will reportedly make his long-awaited return to action for the Rossoneri after nearly one month out injured.
According to reports from SkySports, Chukwueze will be in the AC Milan squad to play against PSG and could get some minutes in the crucial UCL tie.
Milan struggle in Chukwueze’s absence
In Chukwueze’s absence, AC Milan have failed to win a single match, and have lost three of four games, including the first leg against PSG.
The Milan side have also lost to Juventus and were shockingly defeated at home by Udinese in their last Serie A game before taking on PSG.
The Rossoneri have struggled in attack in recent games, scoring only twice in their last four games, with both goals coming against Napoli in a 2-2 draw.
Chukwueze’s return will be welcome news for both AC Milan and Nigeria, who will also count on the forward for the upcoming international window.
