Cristiano Ronaldo meets Francis Ngannou and children: Gifts Former UFC star wristwatch ahead of Tyson Fury showdown in Riyadh

This Saturday, October 28, 2023, in a 10-round fight, Tyson Fury, the current World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion, will square off against Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion.

The bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will be the Cameroonian's professional boxing debut.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a huge mixed martial arts fan, lives in Saudi Arabia and previously met with Ngannou, also known as "The Predator."

The fighter was really welcomed by CR7 back in January, and it was made plain to him that he should place a wager on bringing a battle to this nation.

The Al-Nassr star has now gifted Ngannou a watch worth over 100,000 euros as they get back together.

The item is a "Heart of Ronaldo" special edition from Jacob & Co an esteemed brand that Cristiano personally promotes.

“I hope you will believe me, because this is true (laughs). I was at the Four Seasons Hotek Riyadh, where Cristiano was living at the time. At first I met his friend, Ricky, he was saying Ronaldo was a big fan of me.

"I was thinking, I hope this guy is not messing with me and it was true. Then we went upstairs to see Cristiano. I was quite suprised, I said ‘this is Cristiano, right?

"Ronaldo was a very wonderful person, as if I had known him for a while even though it was the first time I had ever met him.

"We started talking, he started telling things about me, about watching my fights at 4am.

"He knew me pretty good, I was suprised. We talked for some time, I couldn’t really believe it.”

In a viral video on social media, Ngannou and his children met with Ronaldo.

Ronaldo held one of Ngannou's children as they had a conversation and were all smiles.

It is expected that Ronaldo will ringside when Ngannou takes on Fury in Saudi Arabia.
