Deborah Abiodun: Super Falcons star ranked 16th among top 100 Freshman

Super Falcons of Nigeria star Deborah Abiodun is back in the spotlight once again.

Deborah Abiodun continues her adaptation in the United States of America (USA) following her move from Nigeria to the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Abiodun has shot up to stardom following the latest rankings.

The young midfielder has been ranked as one of the best newcomers in the American collegiate women's league.

In her first season with the Pittsburg Panthers Abiodun has been recognized for her achievement.

She was ranked the 16th-best freshman despite not being heavily recruited from Nigeria.

She took to her official social media platforms to celebrate the recognition.

She said, "I couldn't have achieved this without the support of my teammates, coaches, & everyone who's been part of my rise.

Deborah Abiodun despite her good form was not called up for the upcoming Super Falcons of Nigeria upcoming Olympic Qualifiers against Ethiopia.
