Eric Bailly: Chased away by Man United and Besiktas, Ivorian returns to Villarreal after 8 years
LALIGA EA SPORTS team Villarreal CF have secured the return of defender Eric Bailly after reaching an agreement to bring back the Ivory Coast International to the club.
Bailly arrived at the club after Turkish outfit Besiktas terminated his contract despite joining the club in the summer.

According to a statement from the club, Bailly has put pen to paper that will see him wear the yellow kit again until the summer of 2025.
The club also confirmed that the 29-year-old signed the dotted lines after he passed his medical.
Bailly returned to the club for a second spell after he joined the club for his first stint in the second half of the 2014/2015 campaign from fellow LALIGA side RCD Espanyol.
Bailly impressed at the La Ceramica before Manchester United came calling in the summer of 2016.
The Ivorian went on to spend six years at Old Trafford before falling out of favour, leading to a loan move to Ligue 1 side, Olympique Marseille.
However, Bailly will leave United permanently to sign for Turkish giant Besiktas in September, where he played eight matches before both parties agreed to tear up their contractual agreement.
Currently sitting 13th in the league table, Villarreal hopes Bailly can help solidify the backline and improve their chances of pushing up the table and far away from the relegation fight.
Bailly had his most successful period at the club under manager Marcelino. He will now be looking to thrive again under him as he takes on a second stint in familiar surroundings.
