Salah left the field frustrated and angrily removed his protective hand tape and threw it on the football field.

The Sun reported that following the event, some supporters joked that the Egyptian ought to have been fined for littering.

One Chelsea fan said, "Look at Salah man, littering all over the pitch."

Despite the draw, Salah was instrumental in Liverpool’s performance as he provided the assist that led to the Reds' opening goal.

Salah had laid on a perfect pass for Luis Diaz to open the scoring in a match that both teams played in a cautious way.
